If you want to enter more detailed information on how a student did on a particular assignment, hold down the control button (or right click on a PC) on the “bright colored” part of the assignment – where you see the assignment name. You have several options:
• Mark it as late, missing, except, etc. NONE of these affects the grade.
• Give it a very specific comment by selecting “show score inspector”
You can now enter a comment for that particular student. Once you enter a comment, parents will be able to view it as they login. Again, this is a great way to keep parents in the loop as well as avoid phone calls/emails.
